Phnom Penh, May 2, 2013, in order to celebrate European Union Day which will be fall down on May 9th, AECID was invited by the local radio station FM 102 (Women’s Media Centre of Cambodia) for an interview under the theme “European Union in Development”. Information about the Spanish Cooperation and the relations between Spain and Cambodia was shared with the radio listeners.

May 3, 2013, AECID participated in the “Handover of Mine Clearance Achievement of Pro-Active Battle Area Clearance project” which was held in Kampong Cham province, Cambodia. The project was implemented by Cambodian Mine Action Center (CMAC) and supported by AECID through Handicap International.

On February 14th 2013, at the Freedom Park in Phnom Penh city, there was a gathering in public with many activities such as speeches, dance, sing, and other performance from 5pm to 8pm.​ At the event, there were numbers of the participants in both national and international, politician, actor, actress and civil society officers.
